Under the Milky Way Tonight

Sometime within the past few months I began to dabble in astrology photography; my first decent photo came from Fallen Leaf Lake at about midnight. I shot with an ISO of 1600, a wide open aperture, and about a two minute long exposure. Check out that photo here.

Since that time, I have developed a strong interest in astronomy and have really continued to enjoy shooting the fiery balls of gas way out in the galaxy. In Tahoe last night the stars were brighter than ever and the milky way was as visible as it gets, so I jumped on the opportunity and shot this. Be sure to click the photo to get the most out of the shot. :)
